The majority of Driving Schools provide their pupils with little or no back-up materials to help with their tuition.  Some may provide a basic appointment time card and a few will supply lesson recap handouts. 

At Go School of Motoring we go way beyond that and on your first lesson you will be provided with your unique Driver's Pack.  Now fully laminated and bound, the pack contains all the elements required to both monitor and accelerate your progress.  The pack is designed to not only provide advice and information on driving in general but is specifically tailored to driving in Inverclyde.

Below are listed the individual elements contained within the Driver's Pack but as we are constantly looking for ways to improve the pack it may contain additional items.  Please remember to bring your Driver's Pack with you on each lesson!

APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE

The appointment schedule not only allows you to keep track of your appointments.  On each lesson achievements are listed and targets set for the next lesson.

DRIVER'S PROGRESS

This features the different catagories which need to be mastered in order to to pass the driving test.  These are measured from RED (starting out) to GREEN (independent) and give a visual display of your progress.

DRIVING TEST REPORT

Your training will include mock tests designed to exactly simulate what you can expect on the day of your test.  Records are kept of these tests and problem areas can be addressed.

LESSON RECAPS

The Driver's Pack includes DIA Approved Lesson Recaps with lots of diagrams. Studying these between lessons will not only improve your understanding of what you have learned but could actually help reduce the number of lessons you will require.

ROAD DIAGRAMS - NEW FOR 2019

The Driver's pack now includes laminated diagrams of some of the more complex road systems in Inverclyde, including a three page feature on the Bullring Roundabout and an additional section on the Baker Street/Morrisons and High Street areas, making understanding of these systems much simpler.  NEW for 2019 - the diagrams have been updated and expanded to make them more relevant to the new driving test.

MANOUVERS - NEW FOR 2019

Full diagrams of all three manouvers breaking them down into easy steps.  Clocks and triangles brought to life!

EMERGENCY VEHICLE PROCEDURE

Diagrams and explanation of how to deal with emergency vehicles.
